I do not know muhc about the military items, this is a medal that i believe is british. The front has the profile of a man, and says georgivs v britt omn rex et ind imr the back has a borse, skull & crossbones and says 1914 1918 the outside rim says 705 sjt. J. Mainwaring. R. War. R. Includes what may be the original ribbonlooks old and appears to be made of silk. I'm sure this would make a great addition to a collector who truly values military history as my grandfatehr did.
